After a week working and relaxing in Hostel Durres, the hitchhike down south was easy and inspiring.
Albanians are unbelievably kind and generous, open and hard working, trusting and honest. A short walk from Sarande towards Ksamil and I was picked up by a wonderful restaurant owner Melsi, who took me under his wing and welcomed me into his family and community. I had the pleasure of staying and working with him by the beach for a few days before heading into Greece with a heavy heart.
